MOST at the Forum of Ukrainians of Eastern Europe

On 13–14 December 2025, the Forum of Ukrainians of Eastern Europe, organized by the Ukrainian World Congress, took place in Przemyśl, Poland, at Narodnyj Dim – Dom Ukraiński. The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian organizations, diplomatic institutions, civil society, and activists from across Eastern Europe. Asociace MOST UA-CZ was represented by a delegation consisting of Taras Katrun, Director of the Association, and Anna Abramchuk, First Deputy Director for Internal Policy and Public Relations. Participation in the Forum was an important opportunity for MOST UA-CZ to review its work in 2025 and further develop its priorities for international cooperation.

Youth as a Driving Force of the Ukrainian Movement Abroad. The Director of Asociace MOST UA-CZ, Taras Katrun, participated as a panelist in the discussion “Youth as a Driving Force of the Ukrainian Movement Abroad.”The discussion focused on key challenges and priorities in working with Ukrainian youth outside Ukraine, including: preserving national identity and a lasting connection with Ukraine; countering assimilation and Russian disinformation; developing systematic political and civic education for young Ukrainians abroad.

Building Networks Beyond Borders. During the roundtable “Networks Instead of Borders: How Can We Unite the Youth of Eastern Europe?”, representatives of Asociace MOST UA-CZ presented the Association’s vision of effective governance models, internal structures, and coordination mechanisms for Ukrainian youth organizations. Following the discussion, participants initiated the creation of a Coordination Council of Ukrainian Youth Organizations of Eastern Europe. The proposed platform is intended to provide a permanent framework for regular cooperation, exchange of experience, and joint projects.

Meetings and International Cooperation. During the Forum, the MOST UA-CZ delegation held a number of working and introductory meetings with representatives of: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; Ukrainian diplomatic missions; the Ukrainian World Congress and the European Congress of Ukrainians; Ukrainian organizations from Poland, Romania, Moldova, and Hungary; civil society leaders, volunteers, and representatives of religious institutions. The meetings focused on developing practical cooperation, coordinating activities, and strengthening mutual support among Ukrainian communities across the region.

Joint Declaration of the Ukrainian Diaspora. Asociace MOST UA-CZ joined the signing of the Joint Declaration of the Ukrainian Diaspora of Eastern Europe, initiated by the Ukrainian World Congress. The document aims to strengthen the unity of Ukrainians worldwide and coordinate joint action in response to contemporary challenges.
